The Components of Physical Fitness
Whether you are exercising in the pool, working out on resistance equipment, cycling or jogging, you will be improving at least one of five components of your physical fitness.

  • Fiteness studio equipment
    Cardio Vascular or Aerobic Fitness
    The capacity of the heart and lungs to deliver oxygen to the muscles during sustained exercise.

  • Muscle Strength Fitness
    The ability to overcome a resistance.

  • Muscle Endurance Fitness
    The ability of a muscle to overcome a resistance over a longer period of time.

  • Flexibility Fitness
    The ability of a muscle to work through its full range of movement.

The Sauna and Turkish Steam Bath are a perfect way to speed up your natural circulation.
  • The Sauna
    Regular use of the sauna is a natural way of helping to get fit and healthy, and staying that way! By speeding up your natural circulation and raising the body’s temperature, the dry heat of the sauna can relieve aches and pains and soothe tired muscles. It is also wonderful for deep cleansing the skin.

  • The Turkish Steam Bath
    Our steam bath offers complete relaxation – both mental and physical. It comforts sore muscles, cleanses the skin and as your blood pressure falls, so the tension eases! The steam bath also helps to relieve cold symptoms and asthma sufferers will benefit from the immediate and long lasting relief from the high humidity and gentle warmth that it provides.
